Imagine the thrill of breaking an important news story to the local community or making that dramatic play-by-play call heard by thousands. You can be part of the action whether its breaking news on an un-folding dramatic news story or simply being the "voice" of a high school or college sports team. BIM’s News/Sports Majors receive training in both radio and television reporting.
As a student majoring in News and Sports, you will get to cover news and sporting events as they happen in the local area. You'll do "live” reports from the event for radio and TV, along with interviews, voice over and various field productions. If sports is your passion, then you can be among those who do play-by-play and color commentary for Loyola University's sports teams that are streamlined live over their website or do production for Johns Hopkins University’s sports teams. It's hands-on, it's real and it's exciting.
Class schedules are flexible and financial assistance is available to qualified students. Contact us today - It’s your first step toward an exciting new career in television.
